Got send to service centre?

Seems like lemon set since after your factory reset, you should hardly see any lag leh.

I rarely use auto rotate so can't comment

Maybe see got experts here to recommend solution or some diagnosis check but if under warranty should get it check

Export set and the seller warranty expired. Might get it serviced in India later in the year through friend, much cheaper to get it done there apparently. Or will sell it off for spare parts on carousell once new phone arrives

Any pros here have experience buying the china set from qoo10 reseller? I only bought before the OP5 from official lazada seller.

I hoot the group buy OP7T yesterday like some bros here. I'm just concerned on the quality control of china set since warranty only 3 months from seller.

My OP5 no quality control problem at all over the 2 years I using. Please share with me your experience. Thank you.

I really wanted to buy again from Lazada official store since I had good experience with the OP5, but $200 more is really hard to justify man...

You do have the option to extend the warranty to 1 year for about $40.

I bought OP 5,6,7 and 7T otw, all China set via Qoo10. Only 7 gave me issues. As others have mentioned, depends on luck. Only advice is if you spot any issues upon getting the phone, no matter how minor, get it rectified through warranty asap. If it works well out of the box, it's generally quite smooth sailing.

Hey Jack thanks a lot for your input. :)

A couple more questions if u don't mind:

What to do in case of warranty claims with the qoo10 reseller, since they didn't provide any info in the Q&A?:s22:

Does the chinese set's warp charger work fully with SG's power supply?

FYI, I checked the 7T has local hardware variants and the chinese version (HD1900) lacks 3 4g bands, namely 25(1900) 32(1500) & 66(1700/2100) compared to the SG/EU version (HD1903). Shouldn't be a problem in Asia anyway.

you need to go through quite a number of steps with some activation and installation of hidden access and manual enable through it, not that simple.

Like I mentioned, I already did all those manual steps. Quite simple enough.
What I mean is that there is no Volte sign in the notification bar to indicate that Volte is active. Other phones have it.
That's all I want to point out.

Some guys don't like the curved screen, personally adapted to it but the first 1-2 weeks were tough :s13:

that curved screen sometime give me a headache. one of the gaming app i played has this "x" button (closing of another screen) sit exactly at the corner and if my finger is too fat or big, probably i can't hit the "x" to exit that screen :s13::s13:

Don't know exactly how it works, I procrastinated until surpassed my warranty period so didn't manage to send in. To best of my knowledge gotta send into sellers shop for 1 to 1 exchange. Only covers manufacturing defects so stuff like software issues or cracked screen they won't help you.

Yes charger definitely works without issue. Just need adapter to plug into 3 pin socket.

LOL! like that buy extended warranty for one year @ $98 (not $40 according to listing) also not much use. Same goes for the official store I guess...:spin:

Thanks for confirming that warp charge works.

Yes I bought my oneplus 7 pro from them directly.

Only difference is can't use credit card, installment if available etc, perks from Lazada.

Then why you don't buy from qoo10 reseller's chinese sets? The promotion now is $700 (after coupon) for the 8/128GB 7T.

Unless you want the warranty provided by official store. But the warranty only covers manufacturer defects what, which is close to useless down the road.

It was early in June at launch. Managed to get 2 year warranty. Couldn't wait to get my hands on it after seeing the review. Went to city plaza and just grabbed it.

But sold it later as I find oneplus curved screens extremely fat... Unlike the curve of the Note 10 plus which I'm currently using. Kept forwarding in Netflix because of accidental touches.

I'm in no hurry to get the Oneplus 7T, or 7T Pro. Picked up the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom for 700 bucks with 2 year local warranty and so far have been quite pleased.

See how in 2 months time when the 7T drops even more 😁

Lol why would you need so many top of the line phones? If I have the note 10 plus alone it'd be enough. I got the 7T because it was within my budget, otherwise would have gone for the Pixel 4.

Yeah the curved screen is the reason why I didn't jump to upgrade to the 7 pro earlier in the year.

LOL... I like to play with phones... It's my only indulgence lah...

Here's a review 7T vs 7T Pro... Even Matthew Moniz recommends the 7T over the Pro.

That’s the reason why I bought mine as local set. Cos some shops don’t even offer a single penny for my previous export sets when I wanna trade in.

Selling my op7 pro on carousell. Lots of kumgong yet demanding buyers. I told them its export set, no local warranty. All of them withdraw their offer after that.

I told them honestly lots of people buy export set coz local set price easily ++$300 more and warranty also useless coz of the nonexistent service.
