What phone u changed to? I think next best should be samsung. I intend to change back to samsung or even iphone when they remove the big forehead and have fingerprint sensor on screen

Went back to iPhone haha. S21 leaks didn’t impress me and I just needed something new that time

not going to get Pixel fone ever even if they release the SD 8xx series.

all my pixel all went to service centre before for screen/battery/port faulty issues.

Many disaster after Android 11 update. Don't think they will do something about it. Cos is a near 2 year old phone. After all, the original Oneplus founder left.

As someone who has supported Oneplus since the Oneplus One. I can say is Oneplus has lost its direction and now its just another China phone maker. ironically now Apple phone/products seems to be value for money.

I agree. Since its original founder left, everything else follows Oppo, Vivo and Realme. Anyway, they are from the same parent.

Faced this issue with qoo10 and posb app sometime back. What worked for me was uninstalling the oxygen launcher update or switching to nova launcher. I am on OOS10 if that matters.

Yes I have this issue with POSB app lately with my OnePlus 7 Pro.

I downgrade back to OOS10. Don't have that hang issue on both apps.

I'm using OnePlus 7 Pro and I enjoyed Oxygen OS, however, despite numerous issues with 7 Pro on Android 11 even with the patches and updates here and there, the issues remain. Personally, i think OnePlus is going downhill ever since they started the launching of the Nord series and seeing how heavy they are pushing their mid range series, they are starting to lose their concentration on older phones especially with the updates. Seeing the merger with Oppo and with the departure of Carl, i wonder what is the future for OnePlus now.

No need to wonder. Just change to another brand. This OnePlus is not the same anymore.

I think the Google pixel series is the closest to the Oxygen OS.

Spoke to DBS. Seems like they're aware of the issue.

The problem seems to lie with old oneplus devices + android 11. The update seems to have messed up quite a number of apps. If you check the OP forums there are plenty of complaints raised about the OOS11 on OP devices.

Best best is to downgrade to OOS10 for the time being.
