still using my oneplus 7... no auto pushed updates as of now leh. will probably see what's with OOS12 when the patch comes then update.

Which version is yours? GM1913 (local) or GM1910 (china import). Heard OP screwed up the region version n some sets updated became India set.

Anyway OOS12 VoLTE won't be able to turn on using the previous hack unless U re rooted.

OOS12 needs root to turn on VoLTE but that was on OP8 series.... I guess it will be the same for OP7 series. From the forum can see many many complains, basically, the old oneplus spirit is totally gone in OOS12. It looks completely like ColorOS and just the name Oxygen OS is there. Probably the worst OOS update for OP7 series and also the last...

Probably the only route is to go custom rom to A12 or even A13 now... not sure which custom rom can turn on VoLTE & VoWifi now.

actually just one question... have you thought of your next phone after this current oneplus 7? i've used it for about 3 years plus and wonder how long i can stretch it out. have went to mister mobile for a battery change about a year back and its still wonderful.

That's why I rolled back to oos 11 from 12

100% not a OP phone... Maybe pixel but cost is high or maybe pocophone if the price is right and just bear with the lousy MIUI.

Hence, i hope to stretch the usage of OP7P as long as possible maybe changing to custom rom or just stay put at OOS11 for another year or so till the phone dies

I thought of this question before when i was still using op7tp. Pixel or samsung. But if nth entice me, will just try ios once it changes to usb c.

Then abt a mth back, i was gifted an iphone. So.. using my op as a spare now. Didnt change battery yet so the sot is only like 3-4h lol.

i had been using it since Aug 2019 when it was launched. never change battery before and OnePlus Diagnostic shows my battery status usually between 80% to 85%. If i charged up to 100%, it will drop to 80% and if i only charge up to 80+%, the health status might goes back to 83-85%.
I know by today standard of fast charging 30W is like normal speed but back when OP released dash charging and then warp charging, i had always been charging to 80+% and recharge whenever it falls below 40%. Hence charging it twice a day for 30min to 45min esp in the car driving each time, it seems to prolong the battery lifespan i guess.
the only time i did send in for replacement is for the pop up camera ribbon which kind of wear n tear issue at the beginning of the year.
not going to be bothered abt update aka security patches, hopefully the phone can last me another 1.5 - 2 yrs before changing till a nice, worthy and nicely priced phone surfaces.

You can't. It is not supported anymore since the phone carriers in Singapore stopped supporting 3g last year. I only realize that last December too when I was using my Oneplus 7pro. That is why I changed to 13r recently, it works fine now.
