If you unlock your phone it work instantly, maybe someone can confirm this. I try twice with the phone unlock it detect alright but if it's lock and screen on it become funny

so the variant I need is ba ok will see, just tap in again it work but not without some rubbing, I felt the reader is somewhere just below the OnePlus logo.. it seem take some time like 2 second to capture.. I also follow the instructions to enable nonstandard NFC in developer mode as well..

Please with ba rom got any limitation? Anything not working locally?

nope i guess, i’m on export though but i switched to BA (Eur) as their updates release are on par with india. AA (Int) is probably few days late on updates.

Can I just do local update to flash latest India firmware or I must downgrade to 10.5.5 first

I doesn't seem to find the thread specifically on downgrade in xdadev forum

I read before you can't jump aka downgrade directly to the 10.5.11 (BA)or (DA) since yours already at 10.5.12 (AA) higher .12 vers due to their version number.
safer is to downgrade to 10.5.10 (AA) and change it to BA via oxygen updater app. Please read carefully on the specific steps though.

Just download the rom from OnePlus website then do local update lo

i having trouble getting the phone to detect, it keep showing up as kedacom android interface rather then qdloader 9008..

i try manually update driver but it seem to be totally diff device type.. and won't accept manual update..

make sure if you are in Qualcomm EDL mode instead of some other mode. EDL mode should have a black screen.. which is diff from bootloader mode. When you are in EDL successfully, when cable is plug in.. there would be a pop up mentioned that you are in EDL mode.

for some reason i think i brick my device.. i see nothing on the screen anymore and any button press does nothing cannot power on as well.. whne plug in pc got respond and qdloader driver detected.. however msm tool not detect as connected.. end of the line??

Wa. Can't be ba. Hard reset your phone ba.

Hold volume down and power button till u see boot logo

Thanks i did that and it boot back to EDL.. that why i deleted the message.

but weird is that at that stage where the screen is all black it detect the port correctly.. however i boot back to EDL mode it detect as kedacom again.. i think i did the key press wrong.. i press both vol + and vol - at the same time and connect the usb cable.. the phone goes to a screen saying fastboot mode.

now i understand, i been on the wrong mode.. the correct mode should be the black screen not the one which have bunch of info. however i still not able to make connection with msmdownloader tested 2 pc.. maybe i am too stupid..

driver issue apparently, after update the driver automatically now it detect in msmdownloader in progress of downloading 10.5.5 aa

Qualcomm drivers are always there it just me going in to the wrong mode.

and the qualcomm driver outdated once i got both sorted now i am on 10.5.11BA see how tomorrow when i try on commuting.

tap out.. the same took sometime to register but slightly faster, obviously is not as fast as my pixel 3 xl and my S20+ in the past.. maybe i need to clear system cache and memory? maybe remnant of previous 10.5.5AA still exist.. :|
