I bought mine second hand.. thinking they are the sole distributor they should be able honour warranty based on IMEI or serial no. I was wrong..

Now basically I have a export set that non working gpay lol

Maybe can try ask the seller give u the receipt ?

how come u all gpay for mrt n bus so much problem? mine work flawlessly as long as i unlock my phone, but wake up phone only will have problem, sometimes work sometimes dun.

and i realize the vibration is really soft in this phone even when set on strongest.

and only wrap charging in the box can charge really fast, other charger i have which provide fast charging is not working. jus normal charging.

so far this is my 2 concern.

i bought spigen case, transparent back and apply my redstone glue tempered glass at bugis. so far so good. finger print works well.

I used this tool all in one from xda. U can read up more here. Basically is just using this tool to unlock the bootloader (will wipe) followed by " recovery flasher and device rooter" function to load twrp temporary and it will flash magisk.

And that's why u don't have the problem. The issue is with local sets. One would think that by getting local set(sometimes, at a higher cost) , it should have less problems than an export. But its the other way around. Local set's have problems with gpay for public transportation. Thus the frustration.

is it? i don't know anymore.. ever since i got this phone all my time spending on upgrade downgrade flashing diff country rom etc.. until tired already...

backup and restore is the most tedious one.. until my wife complain why never read her message in Whatapps because it was send after i backup and halfway doing restore not noticing her message because it restore the point before she message...

maybe should switch back to samsung.. go find export snapdragon edition or go by oneplus 8 pro export instead..

For me, I only use gpay for mrt/bus rides. Rarely use it for purchase or restaurants.

I v puzzled why only local set got prob, but global set no such prob meh? If global set also got such issue, then there is bound to be an alert and fix coming soon

What did they install specially in local sets that caused this issue? I always thought there's only 2 variants for oneplus: China and rest of the world

just 3 days after performing upgrade downgrade... my problem with it come back again.. sigh... i wonder what trigger it..
i think i going to put it on carousell and sell it off.. i bought it to served me but end up i serve it more than it does to me...
never did recovery so many time in my life.. and fell like an nightmare getting all the app install and such... again n again... login into my bank app singpass and etc... boy its hard work... i think is time to bid it farewell... and fine some other greener pasture..

So weird. My still working as of yesterday, after using for 1-2 weeks on 10.5.12.IN11AA.
Think can sell off and wait for 8T export liao.
