Hi all,

How is Netflix with OnePlus? Does it have the same HD issues like some other Android phones?

Usually those HD issues is because they dont have the correct DRM certificate.
What I know is mostly xiaomi phones have this issue because they dont use Netflix.

HD content is enabled, OP8P and the OP8 comes with Widevine L1, but if you do unlock your bootloader for rooting etc, then that drops down to a L3, that still allows for netflix playback, but only at 480p.

Thank you everyone.
Currently using a Mi Max 3 and looking to upgrade to the OP8P. Wasn't very thrilled about the Netflix DRM issue with Xiaomi phones.
It's a relief to know OnePlus is good for HD.

The 2 cases in the box should be more than good enough and already come with a preloaded screen protector.

Is it worth to get one plus 8pro 12+256 with seller one month warranty at $1438 now ? Since if I order from Lazada the earliest I can get is from 12th may to 18th may

There's a high chance the export sets you buy from other shops will be delayed as well, I remember during the 7T days some ppl only got the phone a month later

How would you know if buy export set will get it earlier? Also, If your set comes with screen issue, what’s your plan?

I rather wait and get local set for assurance.
