I just gave up my preorder. The still coming in reports of screen issues in Reddit just a bit too much. The tint problems are solvable by software, but the burn-in just points to hardware defects. Hope the latter batches that you're receiving here offer better quality screens. Time to look for an alternative: either the Mi 10 Pro global edition, or the S20+ Snapdragon (got vendor on Shopee is selling it at a good price).

Green tint I have it when I was using Galaxy Tab S 8.4, it is a hardware issue, took me 2 swoops before it was resolved.

My Mi 10 Pro is on the way, so many good reviews about it. Both OnePlus 8Pro and Mi 10 Pro are quite similar, but Mi 10 pro charges at 50W.

I am speculating that the delay is due to oneplus rectifying the screen problem? Other shipping do not seem that much of a delay. If this is the case, I do not mind delay for them to rectify the screen problems.

Oh man, I also confirmed with them just now, phone is not in Singapore yet, they mentioned until 8may still In pre-order period

Bros just sharing this as I wanted to get the OP 8 Pro but stopped short after hearing about the possible screen issues

https://www.notebookcheck.net/OnePlu....463468.0.html

If you check the sources, they are citing a reddit user's interaction with an entry-level staff via the live chat function, which isnt very credible journalism if you ask me. I would wait for more concrete announcement from OnePlus, which would probably be triggered by this article at some point.

Are u still giving up your order?
I think I may cancel my pre-order blue with pop up box. If anyone wants to takeover at the original price with shipping (no mark-up) please PM me.

If nobody wants I will cancel my order on Sunday.

This post is to benefit anyone who missed out on the pop up box & I do not plan to benefit from it. If this post is inappropriate here mod can remove, thank you.

Solid man. Thanks for always updating us.

After a few days of usage, whats your general impression/ comments on the phone? Worth it?

Thanks for the update bro. Any issues with the screen display in dim light? Did 10.5.6 improve it?
