Solid man. Thanks for always updating us.

After a few days of usage, whats your general impression/ comments on the phone? Worth it?

Coming from a 60Hz screen, and I may have said it before, but the 120Hz AMOLED display is definitely a game changer for me. Temperature wise, phone feels cooler after the latest update also. Used to get abit toasty whilst playing COD. Something new I noticed also is that the vibration motor reverberates with the notification sound, something like the Sony Dynamic Vibration System if anyone have heard about it. A really nice touch to add on to the whole experience. Camera quality is pretty solid too, but can't upload any meaningful pics to show since I've been indoors most of the time.

Thanks for the update bro. Any issues with the screen display in dim light? Did 10.5.6 improve it?

Apart from the aforementioned image retention (I tried but I can't even capture it on camera) and red tint on greys, I haven't noticed anything especially peculiar about the screen. Activating DC Dimming does solve the red tint, but makes the overall colours a little darker. 10.5.6 didn't change the display calibration much for me.

Image retention is screen burn-in? I am rather concerned about this....

Yes. I've mentioned previously that it is a hardware issue. It happened to my tablet before, software update can't resolved

Was consider this or mi 10 Pro but not a fan of xiaomi ui

But you can still download other third party launcher. I'm using Mi 10 Pro second day now, first time using Miui and Xiaomi phones, feels abit weird as I've been using Samsung OneUI for a very long time

The image retention indeed should be livable as it goes away soon enough, annoying as it is. I'm more bothered by the tints, and not confident if Oneplus will be able to finally fix it with software. $1.4K is a lot for a phone, and at this price, the device shouldn't have this kind of wide-spread hardware-related problems. MisterMobile is a repair facility too, not distribution, So how quickly, if at all, will Oneplus replace defect units is also not certain at this point.

It really is a nice device though. I might get it later this year if manufacturing resolves its QC problems. It's still my preferred device, though the Samsung S20+ SD version is being offered by Shopee vendors at a really good price and $350 cheaper. Not to mention also the Mi Pro 10.

actually my main concern is whether the retention/burn in issue will cause problems as you use the phone over time. will the burn in get worse after using for few months?
