definitely better then double pressing power button on iOS without risk of damaging the buttons

All I miss from ios just the ecosystem only, because I'm wearing apple watch and using iPad pro as well. Other than that, I would consider as a upgrade be it hardware or software(speedy and smooth OS). Oh ya, there is one more thing I'll be worry is the security of the phone, as you know apps from Apple does not ask user to allow lots of access before we use the app. I mean the last time I'm with android was during oneplus 7pro, used for 8month then I change back to iPhone due to my mobile game ID, now my mobile game is allow me to transfer its data from ios server to android, which gave me a reason to stay with oneplus. So ya the security of android had me worry, not sure how safe is android phone, saw a lot news like info leaks, fraud transaction on the debit/credit card that bind with Android phone.

How does it compare with your Iphone 11 pro max?

I've been using apple watch to pay for the transit, so basically yeah I have to double press the button then turn my wrist to tap on the gantry which is quite troublesome sometime if both my hand is carrying thing. With this 8pro I'm very excited to try on the nfc

dont need unlock also can. double tap wake screen and scan phone. as long as phone screen is lighted up then can use google pay for transit already

Haha oops my apologies I didn't know, for me all these while I just take out the phone from my pocket and place my finger on the back fingerprint scanner. Will really miss this feature tbh

Another neat feature I found is that the OnePlus 8 Pro comes with the pocket mode that was missing in the OP7/7 Pro. Doesn't use the fickle under display proximity sensor, but instead uses the conventional one next to the earpiece.

Read on OnePlus forums that some users of OP8 have the screen issues as well. However the number complaints not as high as the Pro model

I guess many op8 pro users are complaining because of the high price tag. Pay 1k and get a defective display
