also to add on, there is a local warranty for the phone, thats the reason why we paid a bit extra for it and this time round, the pricing for local sets are reasonable compared to last time. any issues just raise concern to the service center and post here. i can try to help to see what oneplus singapore says about this. but i have spoke with them 1 hour ago and confirmed that oneplus HQ mentioned it can be fixed via software update, and will be fixed via a software update.

saw alot ppl with concerns about the screen and some cancelled order due to this, so i spoke with them on behalf of you all and highlight this to them

i believe there should be a certain limitation they can adjust behind to fix the green tint at the expense of the black crush which will be much more visible.
people are complaining dc diming improves green tint but causes black crush. this is clearly limitation of the panel.

Thanks. Is this with QHD and 120Hz?

I've been using export set 8pro 12gb+256gb, no issue on the screen at all, phone is perfectly fine and I'm really amazed by the SD865, download and install app speed better than 7pro 2-3times. Battery wise quite on par with my 11pro max, maybe 30min less SOT ba

Agreed! I will also max it out. Money already spent. Don't use then buy so high spec is wasting money.

Yes im using QHD with 120hz, I mean if I spent this much money on 8pro, confirm I will set it to the max to enjoy the display. Anyway the charging speed is extremely fast also haha

It’ll be my first time moving to android from iOS. Is there a similar quick shortcut for Google Pay? To tap public transport? Like for Apple I’ll just double press the power button now to activate Apple Pay.

From my experience using a OnePlus 6, when paying for public transport using Google Pay, just need to make sure your NFC is on (you can slide down from notification bar to toggle on/off), and that your phone is unlocked. Just tap your phone on the gantry & it will be good to go. No need to specifically activate GPay.

So basically if you leave your NFC on all the time, just need to unlock ur phone (for me the OP6 has a fingerprint scanner on the back which I'll miss) and tap ur phone.
