Below are the info provided by OnePlus technical support team,




Operator: Singtel

Volte status: Enabled

Vo wifi Status: Not support




Operator: Starhub

Volte status: Enabled

Vo wifi Status: Enabled



Operator: M1

Volte status: Enabled

Vo wifi Status: Not support




I share with you my OnePlus 8 phone issue....


Bought this phone 2nd hand

Am on M1 mobile network

Able to activate volte through "workaround" method ( Wificall not available on M1 network )

However, i sent to service centre for firmware downgrade. Lost both volte & wificall features





Don't know why OnePlus firmware in service centre has these 2 features locked & hidden.

We do not know your phone issue........some OnePlus 8 / 8 Pro users has volte & wificall feature by default.



Can i assume your phone has no Volte function available in Setting menu ?

hi rharish,


If your OnePlus 8 Pro has volte by default, then you can use.


Because Starhub network has both volte & wificall feature available

i am planning to buy a brand new oneplus 8 pro IN2020 model and i am with starhub, so want to check and see whether VoLTE works

1) Starhub has volte & wificall feature enabled

2) Whether the new OnePlus 8 Pro has these features available in default, i don't know

Yes to both. Oneplus has enabled volte and vowifi on oneplus 8 pro for singtel and starhub. It will work out of the box. Else have to do the voltte hack

hi, i recently updated to oxygen os 11 but after update the camera can no longer scan qr code automatically :( anyone facing the same issue?

am on M1 too.


Updated firmware, gotten back the Volte & 5G network smart selection feature, both on Sim card setting menu




This firmware took quite a while to arrive though, about 3 weeks

OnePlus 8 with IN2013 variant users,


Any of you with latest firmware Oxygen OS 11.0.5.5.IN21BA faces any issue on,

Phone connected with Windows 10 64-bit operating system, yet phone icon IN2013 does not appear in windows explorer.


Also mean could not detect the phone in windows explorer.........


Anyone faces this issue too ?

After 19 month of using this phone I notice my back cover got abit bloat

Is there any shop can replace my battery

As this phone is quite good for 2022 I don't wish to spend money on a brand new phone
