So, it is true that the camera on the regular 9 is the same quality as on the Pro? :s11::s8:

Oneplus 9 starting 927 SGD, 9 pro starting 1205 SGD in india.

That means locally we're looking at 1.1K starting for regular 9 and 1.4K for 9 pro.

Overpriced man. :s13:
better cam...snapdragon 888...cheaper than samsuck s21...what you want oh?

It may improve quite significantly in that department since Oppo is its parent company now... :)

Literally everything cannot compete with samsung except charging and maybe even the LTPO display for it's battery saving potential.

You seriously believe just putting hasselblad will make OnePlus' camera better than samsung?

Samsung also upped it's software support game. I really struggle to find any area OnePlus can compete now that price go beyond 1k.

It's that price barrier that I think once broken will make OnePlus target consumers either top up a bit and go for the more established brands like samsung or go for phones using SD 860 like the Poco X3 pro which now captures the price range of OnePlus last year's 8T.

marques doesn't seems enthu enough in the entire review.. sounds bored :s13:

Can sense his disappointment with the phone. Seems like he camera didn't live up to the hype.

He mentioned shutter lag whereby you think you took a good shot shot but the actual photo captured is delayed and blurry. Sounds like the cameras on Samsung phones which have this annoying trait. Instant turn off

I agree but if can get a snapdragon version of S21 would be best.

Why sinkapore smartphone market always in awkward position one?

A bit overprice tho. If I still expect oneplus cost around 700 to 800.

In that case, I may wait for xiaomi 11 or buy oneplus 8 Pro better.

Any bros can recommend?

That's the only youtube review to watch imo, other than tech spurt & Dave2D.

IMHO! This guy is too picky and negative.

He has got to know that nothing, totally nothing is perfect. Gosh!

Never liked his shxt.. :(

It is just my subjective opinion.

OnePlus selling point used to be the price.and the software. But that’s no longer the case. The price is no longer attractive and Oxygen os is no longer as good as it was. Firmware takes a long time to update as well. And OnePlus camera has never been it’s strong feature, looks like it’s no different on the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro as well. Did you guys check out this review?

Put it this way.

The new generation of consumers especially so the younger Gen. would preferred spec over price.

So, they are more willing to pay the higher price for good spec rather than pay little less for sub par spec.

It is different and a lot of mindset has changed over the past 5 to 8 years or so.
