I honestly only feel the difference when transferring 4K videos from phone to external storage using OTG

I think I'll just get a Oneplus 7T from taobao...

Spec wise it's better than the Nord is most aspect except for front camera and battery capacity. Plus the 7T will come with 256gb storage.

Final price should be cheaper than Nord too.

He's just comparing the chipset performance. Nothing wrong with that screenshot, to some people the benchmark is more important if they need the performance. It's an objective comparison, most components like ram quality and all that don't matter that much and won't make a huge impact in performance.

Ya, just trying to break it down to basics and do a direct comparison.

Unless they do a extensive phone vs phone test, then we can know all the differences with all the components in play.

But of course as what all these tech reviewers say, the 765G will be more than enough for most users.

At this price point why not just get a OnePlus 7T? From my understanding the processor is also better than the Nord.

My main issue with the 7T is that now the official seller only sells 128GB. I know that you can get a CN set with 256GB and flash Oxygen OS yourself, but you forgo all warranty. Another issue is the 3800 mah battery which is small for 2020 standards, nowadays mainstream phones are going towards 4200-5000 mah already.

I get that the 855+ in the 7T is much better than the 765G in the Nord and camera will still be better, but the issues above is what's stopping me from getting one.

$599? Quite impossible judging from the current price for 8 and 8 Pro in Singapore. My guess is $668/$768 (about 30% more than India price).

Yeah. I'm Kinda resigned that this may not be cheep. Launching on lazada means not likely to be able to drive price down wit coupons also.
