Yups 1st ever OP set. I like the experience so far, except the warranty issue. Might stick to OP to replace the Nord. Think might be able to spring for an OP8 export set. We'll see

If you can get 7t or 7t pro, I think it's a better deal. You only lose 5G mainly.

So OP8 local set got GPay issue. Local set Nord got NVBackupUI issue

OP peeps told me also, but I dont see any other sg peeps bring this up anywhere, so I had to make a call.

If you can get 7t or 7t pro, I think it's a better deal. You only lose 5G mainly.

Dont think export sets will have this problem considering that XDA peeps dont seem to have this issue.

you never know these reviews are real or not. hearsay some street vendor doing this on qoo10 and got banned.

Major diff is pricing, language and Google stuffs, if its export set from China. But you can install google stuffs or you can flash international firmware onto the phone to make it same as local set. There may be complications though.

If you go Oneplus 8 thread, you'll see them discussing a GPay issue that affects only local sets. Export sets not affected.

Also, my issue didnt seem to appear in other variations of the phone. Otherwise you would hear about it all over the internet. So its something local that triggered the bugs or something I did that triggered mine.
