Yup, you're right! The latest 30O v4.4.4 has a serious battery draining issue due to always on proximity sensor bug as a result the battery drain faster then ever. Resolved and available at CM11 nightlies update.

An OTA update to CM11s will be release officially within these few days.

For those like me who already update to 30O, temporarily disable gesture controls under settings, double tap to wake under display, restart the phone and enable those setting once the OTA is release.

Aiyoh it's just an another 10mA worth of drain only lah. It's not as bad as google play services kind of drain.

I saw someone over at the ZF6 thread says can disable certain services (not in use) to save batt power. Anyone know what services can be disabled without affecting Android operation?

Both of these new builds are in the final testing and approval phases. I can't give any ETA because we are subject to third parties, but you should see the power hotfix in the next couple of days with the bigger update right on it's heels.

lets say if on 4.4.2 then flash to 4.4.4 and found to have the batt drain issue... can revert back to 4.4.2 like Windows boh? or must wait until they release update de? This is askin to if there is something I don't like in the new update, can I revert back to the previous version easily?

Bought from the other vendor, Kile, quick delivery and no issues with the phone. Not sure about this Ho Kwan Technology though, but you can give it a try since if any issue can return as its covered by lazada.

i think more or less have one. i read an article one of the staff/admin wrote explaining that the yellow tint was a feature of the one plus, which was completely absurd. But its true that their software can correct the yellow tint issue.
