The Ringke fusion is pretty solid. The back polycarbonate is transparent so you can see the sandstone.

Waterproofing always means lousy sound. The z2 was soft and I did not enjoy using the speakerphone at all. Z3 will be the same I expect.
On the other hand the OPO has a very loud speaker.

Synapse will reset if 1. You undervolt too much, 2. You open synapse before it could finish loading right after a reboot. Plenty of discussion on the kernel and also profiles that are uploadrd by users that you could use. Need to read up.

Speaker sound not really a problem for me as my work environment is dead silent so mostly on vibration. Yes opo speakers are loud. So is the headphone volume.

You lose some, you gain some. Opo's vibration not as strong as samsung's...

I don't face nay of the 2 issue you having since got the OPO on August, in fact the yellowish at the bottom have faded away also.

My battery life is excellence I must say, compare to my last Note 3 and same usage pattern, usually left around 25 - 30% at 10pm while Note 3 will barely left with 10% the same period.

Can't imagine if I root and flash difference kernel, how long the battery will last. Anyway these day, I had lost interest and lazy to root and flash other ROM unless really have to.

Hopefully the supposed OTA will solve all your issue.

There is a vibration intensity setting under the sounds setting. Is yours at 100 per cent?

decided to uninstall a intensive polling app yesterday morning only to realize the amount of battery it has been sucking..
SOT is nothing to shout about. slightly under an hour but the drain is awesome!

anyway, i purchased a generic TPU case from ebay 2 months ago and it finally arrived last night,
tbh, the quality is no less than the diztronic. all ports holes are well cut and aligned.
it has a matt back finish, nice touch, and the side is well, TPU feel.
it even covers the bevel of the phone too, up to the tempered glass.
i thing i really like is it is way lass bulky than the diztronic.

best part is, it cost less than 3 bucks if u purchase the case alone lol
i purchased it as a set with a tempered glass. so it cose US$7.89
