Don't anyhow say OP2 wont have much custom ROM support.
OnePlus never needed CM in order to get other custom roms.
It's only because OnePlus chose the Custom route and not some locked up OEM **** like TouchWiz, and most importantly, a cheap price point, much like the Nexus 5.

Agree with you, but I will say that having cm out of the box gave it a lot of awareness. Doubt it would have had that much support if it came with coloros ootb

Hmm...
But I'm really quite shocked with the amount of people using the opo.
Basically I've sold so many cases for the opo. More than the usual.
So I would say at least 75% of its success is due to the cheap price given the specs.

I need help! been trying to ditch my nexus 4 and use my oneplus but need to transfer a few app + data over. eg whatsapp.

been playing with titanium backup for a few days but still not able to do it. Any kind soul can help?

i tried doing direct copying of that whole whatsapp folder into oneplus and do installation. the messages are copied over but somehow the media part shows its not available.

Titanium backup you can create a .zip that you can flash on your one plus.
Then whatsapp media if can't show then use gallery and view lo.
If not transfer to laptop and open or something.

Flashed to Temasek Bacon CM12 with Ak OPO.030. These 2 combination is the BEST Android 5.0 so far. Except the fonts & app icos are small.

The developer is one of our very own, Singaporean.

Just tried the Temasek CM12 with AK kernel. Don't really like it... especially the changing of sound modes and there seems to be some WiFi bugs where my WiFi will disconnect and have to on and off WiFi again to connect back again.
I can't customize my own lockscreen too...

WiFi disconnected seem to be a CM thing randomly affecting sets.

I'm lucky to have it running smooth. Gonna flash Temasek CM12 v1.7 with AK OPO.035 later.

The missed call notification light always stick to default though custom has been set & capacitive light doesn't go off when dt2s or touch to sleep.

I just dropped my phone from 2 feet and the screen cracked.
