Haha I tried but it makes the opo look good because my Gnex the screen even worse than opo in terms of colour reproduction. So the Gnez screen is even more yellow in colour

This test is for whitness.
this could b resolve by firmware update (sometime)

to test color, get a few 1400p wallaper (either v dark tone or color tone).
However, the color tone, G3 might looks better as its a QHD screen.

According to OPO, the yellow hue/tint issue can and will be solved by a CM11 OTA update coming by end of july. This update will allow users more options to adjust the "warmness" of how the screen looks. The more difficult issue is the yellow "strip" or banding that appears on the bottom of the screen. If you have that, then u can wait n pray that it will dry up n go away or use unorthodox methods to accelerate the "drying" like using hair dryer on the screen or play videos for few hours straight on max brightness.

Hey, I also came from a Gnex last time. Then went to HTC One M7 before moving on to my OPO.

I also put my GNex and OPO side by side, and the GNex screen is super yellow sia.

ya loh... maybe i came from high end phone... those upgrade from low end.. should find it ok.

and ya.. this warm/yellowish is caused by software cm11s.

maybe i'm a designer, theres y colour sensitive. i prefer a blueish white than yellowish white.

But then again, got use to the OPO yellow tint already(Luckily is not that yellow banding at the bottom which seems to be more common in Global sets than Chinese sets)..

Kinda find it smoothing on the eyes nowadays..

I also was hoping to get invite but I realize only thing is cannot use in USA and no Cyanogenmod logo on the cover only.

No point waiting, just get. Anyway next time once more people have, you can probably buy the cyanogenmod logo cover on ebay or something.

I OTA my OPO ytd & surprisingly my OPO CWM recovery in Chinese. I managed to get my colleague to translate it for me. Any idea how to change CWM recovery language?
