Hmm based on xda forum, the VOOC charger doesn't exactly work. The OPO is charging at 2A per hr as per observation because people are saying it charges at 1% per min. That means 100 mins to charge complete.

If the VOOC charger works with OPO, then it should charge it to 100% in just 60 mins or less depending on the heat of the battery. This means charging at the advertised 4.5A per hr.

The OPPO Find 7's 3000maH is advertised to charge up to 75% in 30 mins with the VOOC. The remaining 25% will charge at a slower rate due to heat prevention. So you can use this as the benchmark for actual VOOC charging.

U mean not the same speed as on Find 7? Whats the speed like comparing to the original OPO charger?

OPO default charger charges at 2.0A......3100mAH battery. Go do your own math......

Oppo's Vooc charger does allow you to charge non-vooc devices but up to 2.5A(or so i read.....), which probably explains why people are claming that their OPO charges faster on a vooc charger compared to the default charger.

OPPO Vooc charger charges at 4.5A up to 75% capacity, then reduces to 2A which then further reduces to 1A after hitting 85% capacity. Also, the oppo phone itself has thermal protective coating. All these just to protect the phone/battery from any kind of overheating while charging. Oneplus doesnt come with such features and the battery is BUILD-IN. Is it worth risking any kind of potential damage just to charge abit faster?
