But if your 970 uses ref board with not much changes to capacitor's height, then should be ok..

Its close to ref board, but the caps height are raised. So, if get from EK, get the 1 for gaming, instead of ref. it should match... Should ah.. lol..:s13::s13:

U might wanna check whether MSI is using ref board and components in the gaming gpu. Whether all dimensions are correct, even for height of caps. If all ok, can consider AQC. Full copper blocks. And their shipping is cheap, even if u add loads of stuff. U can buy ur cpu, gpu blocks from there. Maybe the new rads and some coolant or so.

Shipping for AQC is 34.90 Eur flat till a certain high limit.

As for gst, u have to ownself calculate. I calculated mine b4, not worth to split shipping with PPC since their rates are high. U can try waiting for PPC to send out discount coupons.

If i were you, i would get res, cpu, gpu blocks from AQC. Shipping still 34.90 Eur. U can get their res, pump, pump top if u want.

The rest can get from PPC, and if its small, send to cgw to send to ur hse. At least can siam gst. But only good for small items.

I did that for fittings.

royfrosty, any space issues with the monsta rad at the bottom ?

Planned to go with 60mm alphacool rad at the top and bottom, but hey if there's plenty of space.

Why not go Monsta :s13:

All right time to bring up this thread.

This PC has been about a year old. And it is time to do some maintenance such as change of Copper Waterblocks and coolant change. Copper were oxidized so time for me to go for nickel plating instead. And hopefully give it a little sparks back to life.

This time round GeneXis 2.0 will consist of new updated parts and change of waterblocks.

1. X99 Mobo
2. DDR 4 RAM
3. i7-5820k + Bitspower bragi mix99 mobo water block
4. Sapphire r9 Fury X + Bitspower Waterblock
5. New tubings
6. Coolant change to UV white

All right, this will conclude project GeneXis 1.0 here. And it will be the last post for this thread.

Project GeneXis 2.0 will be the next upcoming one. And the thread will be continued here <---
