Correct, it is good to switch to Senoko 2% DOT or 24 months 29.98c, which are both cheaper than SP and with sign up cash rebates like me.
how the 2% discount plan work ?? I am also senoko customer... is this cheaper than the fix plan of 2 year ?

Just received my May 2023 Geneco electric bill at $98.00 after they replaced the old analog meter to a digital meter on 10 May 2023 by SP Group technician.
I was shocked as our usual bill was around $50 since I started on Nov 2021 for the 2-year contract.
Anybody also received such enormous bill for May 2023 usage?
Contacted Geneco and SP, awaiting their response.

Not at all, I do not use aircon only twice a week. Mainly fan. Switched off all power points when not in use and turn off modem and water dispenser when everybody (just the two of us)is out of the house.

Perhaps you have been undercharged all along on the analog meter?

Digital meter also means you can monitor. Login sp app iirc can see your usage.

High power appliances are aircon, fridge, oven, microwave, airfryer, kettle, water heater, hair straightener / dryer, clothes dryer. If you use these a lot then sure high.

also, can consider changing your light to led. Changed my night light to 6x more efficient led - 40w to 7w.
