Do you have a feed/news source to see which gencos are reporting their planned/unplanned maintenance, outage and faults?
It's one thing to have the resource costs be high (LNG market, fuel market etc.), but the recent trend of spot prices being incredibly high at off-peak and low forecasted demand periods does raise eyebrows as you previously alluded to.
Timing it right, the gencos can hedge tactically with their futures, and at the same time, kill off the non-gencos (sayonara Ohm) while cutting their losses as those on <19c/kWh eventually recontract to >20c/kWh. Really is huat to the moon
