I just received a letter from CIMB Malaysia. They asked me to deposit rm500 instead? Has anyone gotten this before? I chose the Petronas savings account.

I chose the normal CIMB savings and got the letter for RM500 too.

Doesn't really bother me on the difference since I plan to withdraw some of the funds for use when I'm there anyway.

Maybe it's a new policy, seeing that more SGeans are going to open theirs as well...

Great. I thought mine is an isolated case as I did sign the form stating I should deposit RM250. Just that I’d be nice for them to inform that there’s an increase for the deposit. Thanks for the data point!

So the card issued.. Is it that we convert sgd to myr as and when we like? After which we cross over and withdraw.. Or we withdraw that time, and use the bank fx rate? Is just basic account, convert sgd, withdrawing and the annual charge? Can deposit myr cash? Place fd?

CIMB Clicks Malaysia

Just wondering if I'm the only one having problems with registering/logging in with CIMB Clicks Malaysia?

I read the reviews of the app and it doesn't look like it; most if not all are 1-star complaints.

I'm not deciding if I should pursue it further with them or just live with it - no Clicks to monitor my account...? :(

Yes link both Sg n Msia acc n transfer using online/app.

Now their rates on par/below arcade rates, used to be much better.

The Changi FX one time promo 3.07 also not bad but difference of 0.01 will depends on what’s ur amount.

:)

I m only seeing a rate of 3.0425 on my apps. Seems rather off from the spot rate.

Any idea if the rates are the same for all customers? I notice some of u seems to be seeing a rate close to spot. Thanks.
