Google Pay works fine. As long as phone is on cn rom, Android auto doesn't work even if you can successfully install it. Encountered this on mi11ultra

Is it slim? Cause I seen a few on shopee that is like a thick plastic covering

I am currently using a transparent cover but i have physically seen and handled the official oppo cover before. Thickness wise i feel more or less the same between the 2. Also i posted previously local sellers are selling the official oppo cover for $50-60 while its available on taobao for only $20+ but you have to ship it in through 3rd party forwarder. Thats one of the complaints i have for this phone is that accessories like screen protector and cases are hard to find and costs alot more. I have 2 cases ordered from shopee prior to chinese new year that have still yet to be dispatched by seller.

Oppo global set should work, at least Oppo Find X2 is on Google recommended list https://www.android.com/phones-tablets/#phones-tablets-hero-rd

Android Auto had a major upgrade for wireless in Android 11, safer for global version device with Android 11 at launch

The workaround to use china rom with navigation connecting to car infotainment/ android auto is to purchase additional gadgets like applepie.Works as long as your car infotaiment system do come with carplay.

can I ask - you guys able to restore Google Drive backup of an Android phone? i can't seem to activate that option after signing in to Google account. there's no prompt at all to let me restore a backup...

normally when u boot up the phone (1st time or after factory reset), it wil prompt you to
1. copy from old phone
2. setup as new...

even for 1), its unlike apple when u could restore the backup image
It only copys the basic one...

as Android is fragmented, you cant do it in 1 place
often needs app to copy from 1 to another

Does your oppo come with Google services out of box or have to install manually ? AFAIK this phone is currently China only, mean no Google service out of big, Most likely why Google drive restore doesn't work.

Nope for my case, I had to manually restore my apps. Couldn't find a way to restore the google backup.

I couldn't even link my wear OS Michael kors smartwatch, hang down there, so I gave up..

Another thing, my G.Photo app cannot see my old photos, meaning the app can only show me the photos frm the photos that I took frm find N.
And, when I go to photo.google.com, I can only see til the photos that I last took from my prev phone, not those photos from my find N.
Anyone encountered this issue?? Sibeh fed up man.
So now I will have to go to website to find my old photos. Kaozzz.

U will not regret it, albeit it's massive weight, everytime u open it up is a joy.
But mine got dead pixel (leaked LCD crystal in quantities) causing black patch. According to my seller in shoppee, the screen costs $1.1k shipped w/o installation. Decided to carry on using it as after awhile, u'll ignore it's there

GMS is a breeze to install n surely u can use banking apps gpay Parking.sg w/o any hiccups at all

Omg...$1.1k is more than half of the phone price....

Think I will just go ahead and get the phone then slowly setup since I am still using the Poco F3.

Just ordered the screen protectors first and maybe get the sticker for the hinge too.

not all can be uninstalled. uninstall what you can and hide the rest in a folder lor lol. there might be ways to remove bloatware via adb but don’t think it’s well investigated for OPPO (there are scripts/steps for Samsung/Xiaomi phones) so that’s quite risky too as you don’t know what apps will affect the phone operations
