The reason I consider about the v5 not just the camera upgrade, but also because of the charging protocol. My wife uses Honor, which is why I got a wireless charging dock on my desk, but it doesn't support the Oppo wireless fast charging... so I always need to connect the cable for charging and it only support PPS fast charge which is 30W+-

Ecosystem is understandable, similar to my OnePlus and oppo. But I do not let it affect my decision, it may for others, not for me
But for v5 this time, the slimness is bogged by the super thick bump, I think it's even thicker than what n3 had. Coming from n3, Xiaomi 15u and vivo x200pro, only n3 felt comfortable in hand, and the OS I feel more comfortable with

Personally, I'm pretty deep in the Samsung ecosystem, and I love the Samsung Keyboard it helps me rephrase my emails to sound more polite or professional when I'm replying to work stuff. So far, I haven’t found a good ad-free or subscription-free alternative. I’ve been thinking about swapping my N5 for the S26U when it comes out, but sadly, Samsung AI is about to start charging for their features soon.

The N5 is my second foldable. I had the N3 for a little while before upgrading. But honestly, a foldable isn’t a must-have for me. I barely use the inner screen, maybe 5 to 10 times a week, and even then, it’s for less than 15 minutes total. Still, it’s nice to have when I need it, like when I’m researching an article and have to reply to emails at the same time.

haha for me, the inner screen is great for my work in IT Support. I myself tried Samsung fold 3, second hand, previously and totally cannot get into the system and the narrow front screen, end up selling in a month to overtrade in for S9 tablet for home use. Then when N3 came out, i bought it day 1 and been using as my main till N5 came out.

My N5 SOT only 4 hours plus battery left 38%. Quite disappointed. Review say can get up to 10 hours. Only watch Netflix for 2 hours. Something wrong?

for me i feel they are usable, the main camera isnt the best sensor used (lyt700), the telephoto is S5KJN5, both aint too bad. The biggest downsides are the selfie cameras and ultrawide, all of which do not matter much to me, and for the overall body+camera bump size i really do not mind.

i nv really take too much videos, but one limitation is no 4k60 on the lower megapixel cameras (selfie and UW), others is still 4k60
