I have both the Honor Magic v3 and Find N5. Seems like a lot of things that matter to me is much better on the Magic V3.

V3 provides a FRONT and back case but N5 provides only a back case.

V3 can support PD fast charging at higher watts but N5 can't. Have to lug around the extra oppo charger and cable.

V3 can wireless charge fast on a 15W wireless charger but N5 is super slow unless using the 50W wireless charger. Again have to lug proprietary tech.

V3 vibration is much stronger than N5

Sound is better on the V3 than the N5

Share your pros and cons with me!
Battery life should be much better than honor v3, though some reviews mentioned that they throttled n5 quite a bit to run at lower W to prolong battery life which results in performance stutters sometimes.

As a multi tasker. The boundless view is one is best implementation for multitasking imo.

Only thing is you can't adjust split screen apps to a fixed ratio. Is either split equal size each half or one side will take up 4/5 of the screen then you need to tap accordingly(expand mode)

But i use two apps on top split and one main app on the bottom.

Regarding charging, I'm using those normal 65w charger, and I'm seeing fast charging on the lock screen. Haven't used the stock charger in box.

Just read - PD charging is stuck at 13w. That's disappointing AF compared to the vivo xpro 3 fold I have.

How slow is the slow charge via PD? Is it "normal" charging or fast charging instead of ultra fast charging when compared to a Samsung?

Overall which would you choose if it's Magic V3 vs Find N5? I care abt camera, battery life and software.
Software wise I would say it feels better for me on V3. Camera I would need time to test. As for battery, online there are videos already showing the N5 is way better.

Camera I feel on par with v3

battery and software, n5 by miles. Magic os is cartoonish, backward and half assed copy of other popular operating system features.

Just now while taking a stroll. Ultra Wide 8mp at default setting with some light touch up

But dont pixel peep -_- .... just a random snap while walking....not at the best setting. No time to figure out the pro setting mode yet.....still setting up apps.

first impressions day 1 from my fold4, it is definitely a huge upgrade.

battery still at 44% from first charge, 5hours SOT so far. camera seems better compared to the fold 4, but i only tested main camera so far.

1 thing I don't like so far is the vibration really really weak. i put on the table, notification come, i cant hear or feel at all. compared to my fold 4 where its way stronger. i usually just use vibration as my alarm but dont think i would wake up if i do that with the n5.

i think it depend on what matters to you most. in terms of weight and form factor, the difference is minimal since v3 was the thinnest till n5 comes up. For myself i prefer colorsOS than magicOS but the built in my hands i just feel very comfortable plus the excellent battery life.

Is there PRIVATE SPACE in the phone? Can anybody confirm? Not 'private SAFE'. Thank you.
Yeah, there is, but the private space is mainly for storing photos, documents, and files. If you want to hide apps, it’s better to use the "Hide Apps" feature. It’s kinda like "Secure Folder," but you access it through the dial pad by entering your secret password. ;)

I personally think the battery is pretty good. Maybe it’s because my previous phones were the N3 and S23 Ultra. I fully charged the phone to 100% yesterday at 6 PM and used it constantly to set up my N5 until 12:30 AM, and it still had 65% left, that’s over 5 hours of screen-on time. With the S23U or N3, the battery would’ve probably been dead or left with just 15-20%.

I can only say that the 8MP selfie camera gave me some trouble during face verification when setting up Singpass. I had to turn on bright room lights and make several attempts before it finally worked. I haven’t tried the ultrawide camera yet, but since it’s also 8MP, I wouldn’t get my hopes up too much.
