Oppo Find N5

first time OPPO user, coming from a Samsung, eye doesn't seems to hurt so much from using phone in a dark room. not sure if it's just me?

This is where the pwm dimming comes into play... 2160hz on oppo compared to 480hz on Samsung.

Samsung, iphone and pixel don't give a sh*t about eyecare....

Adding cards to Gpay though, had issue with UOB. Had to add the card using the UOB app instead.

Citibank app has issue. It keeps popping out the error message on screenshot not advisable. I did not take screenshot and it's not affecting other bank apps.. quite a deal breaker

The battery is really good when it comes to browsing, each % lasts at least 1.5x longer than x fold3 pro but when it comes to streaming online video, it pales a bit in comparison

Prefers the feel of holding xf3p,at least my thumb and fingers do not feel as sore as when I hold the N5 (since it is so slim)
Big problem to me is the fingerprint scanner, I tend to miss it most of the time
Contemplating to sell xf3p at $500 loss or to let go N5 slightly cheaper than $1849

Anyway,
No idea why did phone arena rated the camera quality to be the best and xf3p in the middle ranking (among foldables)

Think their ranking is super unreliable. They rated N5 to have the best ultrawide score for all the foldables.

Just tried. Didnt keep popping out. But definitely can't take SS. Maybe uninstall and install the app if you did copying the apps over from old phone to new.

I think most banks now dun allow ss.
Try to uninstall n reinstall.

anybody using MS Teams? when unfolded the keyboard Gboard got bugs that sometimes you can't type in the MS Teams chat. Not sure how to fix this. Anyone?

Interesting, overall based on your usage is the N5 daily battery life much better or actually about the same as ur vivo?

My usual SOT on vivo is about 5h but only using 50% of battery, a mix of browsing and streaming videos ,and have to charge twice daily if I'm not working
Compared watching an episode of HK drama between the two at the same time using WiFi ,vivo lasts slightly longer (and it has louder volume too)

Rough estimation,
SOT on n5 should be 3 hours more judging the same usage patterns, one time charging daily should be enough
Need to whack the battery very hard if you don't stream online video/gaming

For me, my last full charge was 22 hours and 4 minutes ago, with a SOT of 5 hours and 35 minutes. Battery is still at 31%, which I find pretty impressive! I switched from the S23U. Mostly using it for WhatsApp (with WhatsApp on my PC), Facebook, and RedNotes as my top three apps, plus some browsing, payments, and other stuff.
