I also like that we can zoom out 3 apps in one page mode.. this one V5 don't have kinda miss that zzz..

My search for best case continues. I'm considering Nillkin, but I'm hesitant because the front case uses 3M adhesive. Is it secure? A slim, carbon fiber case I purchased from Taobao also used 3M adhesive, and the front portion detached when I opened the larger screen.

yah, quite troublesome to open the camera cover each time need to scan something. tried removing it and it broke, so now using it without the camera cover.

My experience with a similar camera lens protector on the S23U similar with your frustration. The constant need to open the cover for QR code scanning, especially with daily use of apps like PayLah and PayNow, is quite inconvenient. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose in safeguarding the camera lens, so it's a matter of balancing pros and cons.

I once purchased a cheap, off-brand case that offered integrated camera lens protection, eliminating the need to repeatedly open a cover for scanning. But this solution led to noticeable image degradation, also worst when the protecting lens got oily and surprisingly, dust still accumulated despite the closed design.

Also, my research indicates that some users have reported issues with NFC and Paywave functionality when using the Nillkin case, need open the camera lens cover for these features to operate correctly, is that true?

so far no issues with NFC or Paywave functionality on my oppo though.

It seems there is no reputable brands working on this model case. I'm using this brand as well but then I notice a lot of dust trap at the adhesive side.

I intend to replace the front sp with same brand tempered glass.. I wonder if the case can work with it or not..

The fact I have to buy 2nd case because of the adhesive part..

The adhesive on the matching carbon fiber front cover collected dust and failed to secure the case when the phone was folded, so I replaced it. I now use a clip-on style front cover from a different case, eliminating the adhesive issue. However, this new front cover has a built-in screen protector that reduces touch sensitivity. It is also larger, wider, and heavier than the carbon fiber back cover.

Might bring my phone to service center. Battery is really cmi. Overnight drop 20% on standby and battery usage shows no apps in the list. Only 2h SOT and now battery left 20% something isn't right

not sure how the default screen protector of the N5 differs with the FX8P but the FX8P one is super good, hardly any fingerprints

can try case factorie, i usually do all my SP with them. but my N5 still using default so haven't check with them
