1) Accidental damage.... i claimed once for my macbook pro....fell down with it, the corner dented, lcd broke.

claimed the insurance, they told me to buy a new set because they say it's BER, then reimbursed me.

after getting the new set, forwarded them the invoice, they paynow the full amt to my bank.


2) Snatch Theft....claimed for 2 items, my iphone 16 pro max and macbook pro, bought new sets, they reimbursed both.

of cos u need to have evidence that it's damaged accidentally like photos, receipts to prove that the device really belonged to you. for theft case, u need to have local police report.

in my case, snatched in indonesia, need to lodge police report in indonesia.

i find it much worthwhile than buying applecare+ and other special warranty by samsung, oppo

because singapore special warranty and applecare+ no cover stolen / lost.

Don't know yet. The gadget insurance looks more worth it.
If you want oppo additional screen warranty, must purchase within 7 days once e warranty activated
