Well, Xiaomi did a better job with their SAMSUNG 108mp sensor than SAMSUNG did. LOL. rated higher on DXOMark.

Also Mi 10 Pro 512gb $1100+ vs S20 Ultra 512gb at $2.1K in sg. Both export sets.

Go figure?

Mi 10 pro screen quite washed out...

Samsung is using Exynos proccessor that the main concern :(

OnePlus 8 Pro 12gb ram but only 256gb storage and need to order online ...

Hi bro in your view this better or oneplus 8 pro better

Camera wise find x2 pro better in general

OS wise is personal preference, but both are smooth and snappy.

Pricing wise oppo is more exp though. But if u can get a set from telco or carousell, i think its a good deal

Thanks bro!

OxygenOS is a stock android feel with useful customization optikns.

ColorOS really improves alot from what i have see. Definitely better then last time. But got the "china" phone looks at the UI :s13: u take a look at miui the looks of the icons etc is almost the same. And i feel the options to customise the phone is scattered everywhere.

If you want a better cam, definitely find x2 pro. If u value user experience, and near stock android feel, then it is oneplus for u

Just to weigh in on the OnePlus 8 pro vs Oppo Find X2 pro comparison.

Fyi, I got my Find X2 pro through telco; can't see myself paying $1699 for it. I'm actually in the other thread as well, to see if I want to switch to OnePlus 😅

So, I'm not a camera person, hence, I look out for the other tangible aspects.

1. 65w vs 30w charging. Granted that Find X2 pro doesn't have wireless charging, but the fast charging is insanely... well, fast. It'll be over even before you know it. If wireless charging is not crucial, then the 65w wins hands down.

2. Ceramic/vegan leather vs frosted matte glass back. This will be down to personal preference. I tend to use phone without a case, so the feel of holding and using it is important. The matte glass back some say it's slippery, some not. The vegan leather definitely is good for caseless use.

3. Color vs Oxygen OS. I had used OnePlus phones previously; there is nothing to dislike about Oxygen OS. Color OS has really come a long way, much better than I last used an Oppo phone. In fact, I appreciate that it has AOD, gestures when display is off, and even to swipe left to delete a message (similar to IOS). I install 3rd party launcher, so the stock is not relevant to my usage. Battery is good, and notification comes in promptly as well. Thank God there are lesser restrictions now in Color OS; able to activate developer options and accessibility modes to further enhance user experience.

So, all in all, it depends on one's personal preference, I guess. Cos hardware wise they are really similar.

Looks like I'm holding onto Find X2 pro then 😂

Actually, I have something to check in, if anyone's having the same situation.

When I turn on override force-dark in developer options (I like all my apps dark), and play games, there will be slight color retention or discoloration at the 4 corners of the screen. It doesn't go off when I exit the games; it'll only disappear when I restart the phone. Not a major issue, but it's a bummer that I can't turn on override force-dark and play games at the same time.

Anyone facing same issue or has solution to it?

I came from Huawei P30 Pro... you know, the battery beast they say. I switched to Oppo Find X2 Pro because P40 Pro doesn't have GSM and my work requires lots of Google apps. So, here's my short summary:
1. Form factor - equivalent to Huawei, if not better (e.g. refresh rate)
2. Battery - it can easily last 2 days for moderate users. but if your SOT is more than 5 hrs a day then maybe you'll need to charge every night.
3. Charging - hands down this phone's charging (65W) is godly.
4. Color OS - as this is my first Oppo phone, I actually find it nice, similar to Huawei
5. Camera - equivalent, or better than P30 Pro. but it doesn't have 'Moon' mode so you can't zoom in to see the surface of the moon. Other than that, it's snappy, sharp and colours are nice.

It also has all the friendly features like double tap to wake, AOD, it's IP68, supports Aptx audio codec, seriously massive storage space and more than enough RAM. almost every spec is high-end (Bluetooth 5.1, UFS 3.0, Wifi 6, etc.).

so far I only have an issue with OCBC app where sometimes when it loads, it's a black screen. idk why...

Hi all,

What case do you all use for oppo find x2 pro orange leather?

Also, for those who own the leather version, is it advisable to stick things like Popsicle, popsockets or CLCKR on the leather back?

Asking coz my wife is getting the phone. :o

MIUI there is second space. Does Find X2 pro have it ? What is it called on ColorOS ?
