Some photos of the UV tempered glass that I got from taobao. Installation is just like our WSD just that this one gotta align yourself since there's no frame whatsoever.

Surprisingly smooth since it's $21 for 2 pieces. Time will tell how it stands up but for now definitely better than the pre installed film :s13:
This is super nice. How does it hold up? Any updates?

Still doing good! But I think it's not as scratch resistant as those atas glass like WSD. There's a scratch on the tg and I definitely didn't put it into my pocket with keys. I remembered it was scratched right after I put another phone on top of the glass.

So that's something to note haha

I think all mobile phone shops still closed under phase 1 right? dunno when then can go look for those tempered glass... :(

but at least the pre-installed film is holding up surprisingly well... dropped it screen down once on road tarmac. no scratches or chips.

Thanks bro.
So when you applied the glue did not damage your receiver or buttons? Heard it's quite dangerous 😂 bit scared

Paste scotch tape over the buttons to protect them bro also the speaker grills

Hahah they were quite thoughtful they gave one whole roll of scotch tape together with the kit lol. One thing I realised is unlike WSD when you apply the glue tends to seep out from the sides that's why they provide the suction pad thingy, for this one the glue I don't know is it different viscosity or they just give just nice nothing seeps out lol. Once reach the edge then stop by itself liao.

Happy to report that the A17 update recently released in Malaysia greatly enhanced night time camera performance.
The color is no longer dull and the unpleasant green cast is gone, too. Very happy with this update, hope it arrives in sg soon.(I manually updated)

Biggest bugbear for me was screen sensitivity issue

Glad to report it's fixed with this firmware

About 3 or 4 days of using the Mi10 pro. 90hz and even Always On Display on. 5h51m Screen On Time (SOT) with 30% battery remaining.

Believe if I turn off Always On Display even better battery.

This is without any optimizations like turning off background data etc.

I'm currently at 75% with 2 hrs sot, so it seems comparable? Mi10pro is maybe 10% better?

Yea oppo is impressive also. That said my mi10 pro genna hamtam by my Google photos syncing my photos nonstop today also.. Not sure if that had an effect.

Only down side for mi 10 pro China rom is some tweaking required to debloat etc. But v good phone otherwise

Hahah I can never get used to xiaomi's UI. They add like new features or improvements but since day 1 the UI has been largely similar :s13:

:s13:

MIUI is just not well optimised.

1. Laggy animation i think related to too many animations
2. Buggy
3. Big fonts, reduce display size, even home screen icons also become smaller :s22:
