Parallel imports more risky for them. They dont have local parallel importers. In fact one of the more favoured sources I notice, based on reddit activity is Mobyshop, located here in sg

Most of them prefer ordering from official Vivo or Oppo shops in theri own countries, again based on Reddit activity when the CN or Global devices launch.

X10 prices wont be far away from x500 prices. It's impossible to maintain anywhere near last year prices, given the ongoing chip price gouging.
