Stupid question. Do you guys unlock and enter home screen to make payment via Google wallet? Any short ways? On oneui I just swipe up from bottom and Samsung pay comes up and authenticate fingerprint
Did you get an answer for this? Especially when paying for bus / mrt, what's the easiest way to trigger google wallet?

I came from an iphone so it was pretty easy to just double click power button and trigger apple pay. But as far as I know, there is no option to do this on Oppo

What I do when I want to use Google pay, when screen is off. Double tab, face recognition is pretty fast (1 sec or less) to unlock phone, and in any screen, tap phone to pay. One does not need to launch the gpay app, to enable gpay.

Are you referring to lock screen shortcut?

Using GooglePay in Oppo phone is relatively easy - just need to unlock screen using fingerprint or face recognition can liao. no need to launch Wallet or what, provided you have set the default contactless card to the one you want.

I just unlock using my fingerprint if screen is locked. (depend what is your unlock method) and just tap to pay. No need to go into google wallet app at all. And if I am already using the phone and screen is unlocked then I can just tap and pay at any screen.

For public transport, you can disable authentication. I just double tap and the lock screen shows up and just tap.

I only use fingerprint authentication. For nfc payment, my lock screen has a gpay shortcut on the bottom left. So I double tap to go lock screen, swipe up the gpay and fingerprint scan and tap.

Speaking of nfc, the nfc chip works much faster than s24plus. When I tap the bus reader, it's almost instantaneous. On s24plus I had to wait a split while.

There are also forumers who reported having a better mobile signal strength on x8. The comms chip on x8 is tokong good
