I used apkmirror and search for google playstore.

don't have to do that. within the settings you can activate google play services, once you activate it, it will install google play store etc.

what I'm interested in is if there is a script or reference to remove bloatware via ADB?

thanks for the info . Will take a look if I receive it . Lazada nowadays a lot overseas seller sometimes don’t even fulfill order .

So basically once activated it will install google playstore and the necessary google services will be in ? Any other stuff need to tinker with ?

Took the leap of faith to try Oppo for the very first time and sold off my S25U for X8U. Overall most if not all of my apps seem to work as intended just tons of Chinese apps to delete or disable.

Oppo's own built in app store should have from my experience with CN OnePlus phone with ColorOS. Should be able to just search play store there and install directly. If like another member mentioned and it's now auto, even more convenient!

No idea about migration though. OPPO should have their own migration app like most other android brands.

I find that there's a delay in Gmail email push notification as compared to Samsung or iPhone.

Thought of giving the ultra a try . back to android . the camera the specs of the phone .
since going for a holiday the camera should be of good use
and just nice to retire my old 14pm.
.service battery & keep crashing from time to time . my mail app also had delay of gmail coming in . not sure why also . not going for 16pm . so ya ...

some pix i took with x8ultra past few days in BJ. Pretty much one phone does it all. Personally i think it takes photos at a very good level and last me one full day of sightseeing. Only downside is that it is kind of a little bit too big for one hand operation.

personally i feel vivo x200 ultra photos are better than oppo find x8ultra's. Vivo's tuning makes the subject matter pop out more than oppo. But the bump in the camera module is too much for me & I also prefer color OS. As you said, it certainly works well and for me its good enough as a full package overall. This is probably the most balanced mobile phone imo.

i haven't use vivo phone for more than a decade and i come from oneplus so oppo was a natural progression. But thanks for sharing insights of vivo os limitations

Hmm didn’t really look into it . The mail app on my phone have this issue . My wife’s 1 is normal .
Outlook app I downloaded is ok .
