Up until now, we’ve seen plenty of information on the OPPO Find X8, the base flagship model. The OPPO Find X8 Pro is also coming, and now we know what its front side will look like.

The front side design of the OPPO Find X8 Pro has been confirmed

OPPO’s Zhou Yibao confirmed the design of the phone’s front side, in a real-life image. If you check out the provided image below, you’ll be able to see the phone itself.

OPPO Find X8 Pro front

This was taken in the Gobi desert while the company was testing out the Find X8 Pro’s satellite connectivity support. The phone will feature a micro-curved glass, on all four sides. You’ll also notice that the bezels are minimal.

In fact, the OPPO Find X8 is said to have the thinnest bezels in the industry, and that likely includes the ‘Pro’ model too. The bezels are also symmetrical on all four sides, in case you were wondering.

What else can we see here? Well, the alert slider on the left is easily visible. The power/lock and volume up and down buttons are located on the right side. The phone could also include a camera button, but that’s not something we can see here.

OPPO will offer its own take on Dynamic Island and magnetic wireless charging

There seems to be a display camera hole at the top of the display. OPPO will, however, offer its own version of Dynamic Island, it seems. Various animations will pop up around that camera hole if you want them to.

You’ll also notice that the OPPO Find X8 Pro is a rather large smartphone, as expected. It will support a range of magnetic accessories that the company is preparing, yes, including magnetic accessories for wireless charging.

The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to become official this month. The phones are rumored to launch on October 21, but that date hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

am using CN version of color OS with Find X6 pro.

everything works fine, including Google. only 'pain' is the default CN apps that are used (like Browser, App Market) which we have no way of changing the default or uninstall.

and then occasionally still got some CN text appearing in prompts and notifications from device itself.

personally this is my first and last CN ROM phone because of the above - prefer a clean, EN / Global device.

Specification for this phone does not indicate esim. Is it common that Oppo phone don't have one? I am not familiar with this brand.

wait for global first then will know. CN phones these days usually no esim support. for e.g, OnePlus 12 CN set no esim, but local global set does have esim support.

I've use CN ColorOS on OnePlus Ace 3. has basic google services, can install Play Store from their own app store so no need sideload anything. NFC googlepay works, singpass/banking apps works. The usual no Android Auto, Google Location History, etc from CN ROM. Some apps will need to set in settings to let them get immediate notifications. Their CN ROM probably looks the most similar to their global ROM, so for me it's not bad actually. Some chinese apps and a few things in chinese that doesn't have eng translation, but nothing annoying. I like that they allow uninstalling most chinese apps actually (except a few like browser, messaging app, phone app i think), something which is more restrictive on global ROM (more things can't uninstall). also permissions management has a lot more options and is more granular. but... in the end, while i can live with it just fine, global ROM is similar enough that i feel like might as well just get global if have global since less hassle. it's unlike vivo where their CN ROM is completely different (and so much better) than their Global ROM.

oh yeah, completely forgot that i've tried the find n3 before and that has esim support. so my guess is that quite likely find x8 will also have ba.

Will wait for the Findx8 Ultra then see!
Currently looks like my Findx6 Pro is way better in terms of design and camera.
