At least get a 5.5 inch or 5.7 inch screen size will be good enough...depending on how the mobile phone company make the screen appearance........

just saying,

r7 plus;
158 x 82 x 7.8 mm
6.0 inches (~76.6% screen-to-body ratio)

iPhone 6s Plus;
158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm
5.5 inches (~67.7% screen-to-body ratio)

just like r7 plus is as tall as iPhone and bigger too.
but the screen to body ratio is 8.9% higher.

based on an ideal 5.7“ with high STB ratio, note 5 has 75.9%

Mate 7 and Samsung A8 on 4G max i hit 7hours SOT already kichia :s13:

R7+ is indeed slurpee. Always looking for battery monster :s22: but this brings it to a whole new level.

i wanted to buy mate 7 again but the standby not as good.example 8hrs overnight standby, drop like 3-4% battery.
ever considered A8 and meizu pro 5 but i don't like the physical home button.

standby of r7+ is good, max 2% drop in the 8hrs?
personal usage 65hrs standby with 15hrs SOT.
standby can be longer but i always meddle with the phone,can't resist the beauty.:D

got considered it before but battery life not as good.

my criteria to keep a phone;
1. great battery with good standby
2. not thicker than 8mm body frame
3. no easily heat problem
4. good audio quality

new criteria;
high screen to body ratio around 75% (it equates to thin bezel too)

a problem arises again,
the android OS component is waking up the phone now and then.result battery depletes when the phone is left on standby.

need to find out why.

edited: just shut down and power on the phone. restart no use.

Been using the R7 Plus for a week now. Everything's good so far. It's just I can't seem to find any nice cases around, even online. Anyone managed to change to a new case other than the case provided by Oppo? :)

as long as the android os wake up issue is not solved, it's the same.
unless you are using 4G network.

2G/3G triggers the wake up.

Can you explain what are the systoms of this wake up issue?

battery depletes at least 1% every hour or so when you think your phone is on deep sleep.
just look at your battery usage. settings > battery, explore around.
access into "android OS" and don't be surprised by the period of wake up.
it should be on top of the list instead of "display/screen on".

you can try connecting your phone to 4G, that might stop the wake up. but the battery still depletes on the other hand via LTE.

unfortunately, i think marshmallow does not resolve such issue too. would confirm again if there's chance.
