Using R9 Plus for last few days. It heats up every few minutes and also causes constant battery drain. Will monitor for few more days and see how this goes.

OPPO has redesigned the antenna bands on the R9s, such that the previous wide antenna bands of around 1.5mm~2mm width on the R9 has been restyled to a series of three micro thread bands, each width of not more than 0.3mm!

This helps to reduce up to 60% of the dimension that the previous antenna bands took, and also helps to increase the metal ratio on the back to be up to 98.8%, creating a more uniformed metal back body.

With the change of the antenna bands design, OPPO has also redesigned the internal structure of the antenna layout in the phone.

The 4G network optimization and WiFi enhancer will greatly improve the networking experience on the R9s!

OPPO has also seize the time to do some redesigning around the phone, including improving the glass curvature at the front, polishing the edges and improving the metal back to be more ergonomic.
