Am also using Speedy flat lighting cable, a few months already, so far so good.

if no rush, sometimes groupon sell the original cable at about $10 off retail price. very random one.

One of the worse cable i ever bought. Connection loose, doesn't charge or incompatible. Or either the seller send me 3 lemon cables.

1) Belkin (bought from Tmall for about SGD 15) - good quality with MFi (offical Apple certification - Made for iPhone). Charges quickly and no problem with 5s

I prefer the high quality cables from Belkin (officially-licensed by Apple, not some 3rd party, el-cheapo stuff) to the so-called "original" ones. Apart from a regular-length cable you can also get a short, 6-inch one to keep things tidy when connecting to your Macbook or charging from a powerbank.

On the plus side Challenger sells the 6-inch for less than Amazon...

i'm thinking of buying the belkin cables from tmall. but not sure if it's authentic. How much is it at challenger?

This is a wrong analogy.

Now I have 2 parking options right next to each other. They provide the same utility to me as they're equidistant to my destination. Why should I choose the one that's 5 times more expensive?

one is the official parking spot, the other one is once in awhile the encik appear u have to run kind
