If really on a tight budget, get something else because it's quite weird to wear a Pandora bracelet with only one charm hanging. No offence to you, just my personal opinion.

Since you are still schooling, try to keep it within your budget bah. If you have a nice GF, she will understand your circumstances. You can always make it up in the future when you start working.

Buy a pandora charm, (could be used as a necklace), get that free pandora box and paper bag.

Head over to Thomas Sabo and purchase a plain basic necklace, usually less than $100.

DIY your necklace. Problem solved. Within budget. One charm is sufficient.
