Today main contractor cleared the 3 defects I reported. Unfortunately found 1 more on floor laminate. Seems to be water from aircon unit above that damaged it. They told me they will settle today. So will check tomorrow.

1 unit from opposite already installed ceiling fans with light. Seems like they are ready to move in soon!

Download NOVADE app. Take pictures and report defects. Within an hours, the management office called me and scheduled joint inspection of the defects.

Join the Parc Life owners group, they list all the common defects that home owners can lodge, so you get an idea what are the common defects to look out for.

Now still not many collected keys yet, best to settle asap else need to wait longer when every unit got their key.

No, I didn't use any defects inspection services. I asked my contractor who is going to do reno for me to meet me in the unit. He spotted the peeled laminate and helped to check for hollow tiles. So far, no other defects found from him. Even he is quite impressed. He mentioned he can find many hollow tiles from other projects from China developers. So I guess we make a good bet.

Anyway, defects reporting period is 1 whole year. So long as you can prove that your renovation doesn't involve certain areas, any defects found there, it's still covered under warranty.

I think in actual fact, it all depends on how big is the job. If you expect them to change all tiles for you, you better prepare to wait long long

You mean just installation? For lights and heater, you just need electrician, curtain you can buy from shops that comes with installation and painting is either from contractor or shop. Actually for lights and heater, you can also ask the shop to recommend installer/electrician.

My contractor does mainly carpentry with 3D design, painting, platform, adding or shifting of sockets. Curtain, invisible grille, blinds have to look for other contractor or supplier

Crack wall? Solid surface for kitchen cabinet? I saw some paste post it on window glass. Probably for scratches on glass...

My 4th and last defect on laminate flooring was rectified as promised.

Be careful of water on the laminate flooring. Need to wipe off quickly or else the laminate will be damaged. Think the laminate used is not that durable as some in the market though vinyl might be more water resistant. Vinyl has its own concern as well due to some chemical contents.

I don’t intend to change flooring now as they are still new and it can be a huge cost and time consuming thing to do now

The location where the solid wall n plaster wall joint together? It's always crack, some permanent strains on glass as well
And some dented railing... Think worker drop heavy stuff on it

Chipped solid surface properly they drop something hard on it, solid surface can polish no issue
