Hi mt,
I just saw Lacasa facebook page and found that they have actually been to Parc Life too. Think they are giving a free additional defects check just before DLP ends. I'll probably engage them. My friend from the construction industry mentioned that once DLP ends, the Developer/Contractor will not come and entertain you.

What is DLP ?

Hi, went to their website, they charge same fees range as Absolute Inspection. Do they hv group discount? We saved $130 after discount. Total 3 checks with aftersale services...

Ya, one year warranty from developer

Hi mt,
They do have group discount. In addition to the 3 checks and also after sale service, they are giving one more free check just before DLP ends. So in all is 4 checks.

Yesterday was a tough day for me. Contractor hasn’t completed the carpentry, then management rejected my Ziptrak pillar Color (white), then found defect in common bathroom (water can’t be drained due wrong floor gradient). Worse off, my car broke down after that.

Hope things will turn better...

Wah lao, bro, sorry to hear that.. you already bought the white color ziptrak? Think mgt mentioned cream or somethin like that during key collection right?

You did the defects inspection on yr own is it? The floor gradient issue shd be common sense.. terrible mistake by PL contractor

Considering ziptrak too..then we better seek mgt team approval first bef purchase..

It’s not cream. Need to follow grey that is same as those at balcony glass door, window frames...

Ya, own inspection with some help from contractor. We noticed got water in middle of floor between visits, didn’t really check further. Then that day was fitting some SongCho bathroom fittings, tried to wash to clean. Thought choked initially. Who knows water didn’t flow to drainage

So after group discount, how much did you pay for Absolute Inspection? Compare with Lacasa, are they better in terms of service and professionalism?

Hi, I'm not sure about Absolute Inspection. But I recently engaged Lacasa to conduct defects check for me. They were great in managing my expectations and also in ensuring my interests were being taken care of. The way they spoke to the Dev and Contractor was also very professional.

They told me that they were previously working for a Main Contractor firm so they know how contractors do the work. And true enough, they highlighted to me that my floor tile grout is very powdery and this should not be the case. The Contractor must have done something to cause it to be in that state. Me being a layman, I would not have noticed any problem with the grout. Was really grateful that Lacasa was there to point out all the defects.

Based on our floor area, we paid $520 after group discount. I believe both firms do maintain the expected industrial quality of services and professionalism..

Boss of Absolute was ex- BCA mgt so their team's knowledge should be of high standard. He's prompt in replying our clarifications and inquiries.

Thanks! Have moved in since. So far can still enjoy silent night sleeping. Or maybe it’s due to fatigue from daily unpacking exercise

Would recommend housewarming at evening beside the pool. The night lights make the pool look rather unique and relaxing
