PC chassis cleaning

How does everyone clean their fans ar?
I generally take a damp coth and use index finger slowly wiggle the blades one by one

I remove from the case and vacuum whenever I do a rebuild, maybe every year or two.

Just did that couple of days ago and the fans were not really dusty. I suppose most of the dust have been caught by the air flow slits on the casing.

Mine cannot, everything is quite dusty
My pc location corner of the room at the windows alot of dust because right outside is near main road

i just did my cleaning 2 weeks ago. I removed the screws, took out the fans for easier cleaning.

Use cloth to wipe down the dust.

I only removed my 2cpu aircooler fans to clean
The remaining 10pcs casing fans, i cannot hahaha

me too. I only took out 2 front fans .

The ID tower cooling fan is clipped onto the huge heatsink, i don't dare remove. haha

Its nothing hard actually
Just pull the clips can liao, no need to worry

Not advisable because can damage MB

Buy an air duster. The topline jisulife would work.

Bring the casing to the stairwell and whack.

i vaccum & wet cloth cleaning every 6months

Toilet paper for the build-up and hard to remove stuff, then wet tissue.

that is good. i only opened up 2 weeks ago to do deep cleaning after 5 years

I bought those superfine SS mesh to block all the air inlets. Doesn't clog easily and keeps the inside quite clean. Sure, got accumulation of very fine dust, but not enough to block the cooler vents. CPU and chassis temperature remains almost as low as when it was in the beginning

u mean those black color magnetic mesh ar?
i also was thinking to buy but was wondering will add more stress on the fans causing lesser airflow ma?
because casing panel default already mesh liao then add 1 more layer of mesh over it, im worried will result in slower/smaller airflow?

Buy an air duster. The topline jisulife would work.

Lol. Be careful.

I think can types might have better pressure due to the smaller nozzle...but the fan type has way better endurance.

I think it's good enough since you don't need it to be spotless.

Is still ok for me, but maybe because I bough fine metal mesh with very thin wires relative to the hole size
