i seldom clean my pc, because i seldom use it.
but for my Synology NAS which always on, a couple months ago, i clean it, basically taking it out and use brush to clean the dust. after plug it back, and turn ON, the NAS beeping fan error :s22: end up took my old S-Flex fan which has sony bearing and replace it. had to tune the fan setting to quiet, else will be too fast.

Not sure what killed the fan. i thought fan seldom spoil.

I ownself hate cleaning up my own rigs already lol

Free assembly help maybe still got motivation haha
Just dump into a bucket of distill water, shake shake up and down.. pull out hang and let it dry, then spray isopropyl alcohol 99%, run down where the bottom have another bucket to catch the alcohol, like squeezing sugar cane juice like that.. as in a repeat cycle, till you see no black black stop. let dry or alcohol evaporates.
once done, final touch. spray one layer of Jackie Spray 60 to your entire system... let it dry. you can start to use it as per normal the next day.

How does everyone clean their fans ar?
I generally take a damp coth and use index finger slowly wiggle the blades one by one
Tedious process 😂

I use an air compressor, attached to hose and air gun. Strong and effective. For home use can get a smaller one. If need detailing then I use a disposable cloth with 99% IPA.

If you blow every 1-2 months (subject to deploy locations and environment), you dun really need a wipe down.

Yup Taobao. Tempered glass never break. The internal case quite oily. I noticed some of the rivet screws/bolts/nuts came off. The outer carton can see is not in good condition...

The shop said will try to send me 2 replacement parts for the rear and side which is more seriously dented. Top & side they asked me to hammer it straight then can use already...

I tried applying for refund, but I will get partial refund which will result in me lugi the $80+. They managed to send the correct qty for the normal (concave) fans & reverse blade (convex) fans.
