can explain more details why if secondary hard drive fails will cause primary drive to hang? i google liao the answer very vague...
Windows will keep trying to access the failed drive and will cause whole system to stutter, lag and hang.

I having this problem now becos my sec drive is dying soon.

Is this a assumption that your secondary hard drive had failed or did you confirmed that it is faulty?

Yes, especially if it has trouble initializing.. windows is not very smart.

A failing hard drive can cause booting into windows to become longer. If you start to experience long loading into windows, it can start with occasional to eventually every boot, u can try disconnect the sata cable to the hard drive to see if it boots into windows quickly or go without freezing.

Hang no, the most obvious will be slowdown.
PC hang can be due to faulty hardware or Windows issues especially wrong/corrupted drivers.
Which is why some here suggest do a format than install Windows to irony out the issue.

I think Infinite loading is no different from Hang, but it depends on what he means by Hang :ROFLMAO:

if you dare, just dismember your whole pc, set it up on your table with minimiun part (cpu, ram and 1 stick of ram) and run for a few day nakely to see if the same problem exist or not. If yes then, then is one of the 3 part, if no, then is the rest of the part lo.

sometime, if your case bad grounding also can freeze ur pc

I think you bring to a shop let them check.
Can be either RAM or Windows issues.

First check whether you have any unstable software installed. Remove all uneccaasry software and drivers.
If fresh install of windows with no additional software is causing freezing issues then it is hardware problem. Main hardware culprits are graphics card, CPU, motherboard and ram in this order. Ensure none of these are over clocked.
If you are still facing issue then you will need to replace a new one.
I faces similar issue in my old PC. I bought a new PC cause no time to sit and debug.

I no time to individual diagnose the root cause. I just find every month freeze once or twice is annoying.

I send them for diagnostic liao.. if they find no issue how?? they say going to change the PSU and Mobo + clean windows installation (format the whole ssd).

Once fix plus replacement still got issue after 1 month means what??? I only on chrome and bluestack emulator on weekend nia. Mostly chrome on only.

any advice for them to change the most critical component first then see how? It’s unlikely they gona change the whole component.

Actually any part of the pc component (ram, cpu, mb, psu, GPU) if faulty can freeze your pc randomly.

If can simply name a critical component then the shop technician should be technical enough to solve your issue liao.

ask y'all ah, if pc freeze, unplug gpu cable then plug into onboard graphic will automatically recover the display freeze to determine whether gpu likely the root cause?

If you can recover like that, your PC most likely did not freeze. If really freeze, you cannot recover like that one.

Highly likely i think is either the GPU or the cable or your display.
