TS, have brought your rig to Nigel for troubleshooting? If not, you maybe wasting money on a new/used motherboard if turned up is PSU issue?

I don't trust the paper clip method to test the PSU. It happened to me once. paper clip seems to work but when I used another PSU to test. My computer boots up.

Sent from Google PIXEL 2 XL using GAGT

Even power supply turn on. It may have one or more voltage bad. So unless you use a meter. Unlikely to confirm if power is good.

Not yet bro, today busy. I will definitely go down for troubleshooting first to pinpoint the faulty component before buying anything. Just want to be mentally prepared on the amount of money I might have to spend and if possible to obtain outdated parts:o

Good to know, thanks man!

Do you think the $190 ASUS Z97 ITX MB that hexenB linked is worth the price? Or should I just settle for the $100 H97 one? Since I don't plan to do any overclocking soon and besides the CoolerMaster 212 doesn't fit in my ITX case :'(

Bargain him down to $150
