Specs look pretty decent. Might want to check out the cheaper x570 motherboard as this will future-proof you a little (possibility of upgrading the CPU later and take advantage of PCIE 4.0 once prices drop) and bundle in the WiFi capability (Asus x570 TUF Gaming)

only got a handful of matx x570 though, otherwise need to look at other cases.

I deal with bizgram and they are operating online these days and insist on delivery option - no self collect. I just upgraded my wifi network to Ubiquity gear and got the stuff delivered to my home in a matter of hours :s22:
How much they charge for delivery?

You can go for the B450 but just understand that there is a hard stop that is now real when it comes to the platform. If you're willing to accept that then it's all good.

I personally hate the idea of buying something that has a limit already in place so would avoid it. :s22:

Thanks Hafiz for your suggestions.

Was looking at b450 so that I still have the option to upgrade the processor to 3900 if needed.

Unlikely that I’ll need pcie 4.0 in the near future.

I’m also thinking if getting the gigabyte aorus pro WiFi will be a better option since it already has built-in WiFi.

As long as you understand the limitation going into this then its all good!

There are 2 things that limit you on the B450's. Gen 4 storage and PCIe 4.0 GPU's which are currently AMD GPU's. The upcoming RTX 3000 series GPU's will also be supporting PCIe 4.0 so even if your looking for the low to mid tier 3000 series you will not be able to use them on the B450 given its limitation of PCIe 3.0

So this is what I mean by future-proofing,....

which is the most reliable hdd now? WD black is almost twice the price of other brands.

Western Digital Black 7200RPM (5yrs) $292 4TB
Toshiba 7200RPM P300/X300 7200RPM(2yrs) $142 4TB

Given that 5700XT is having alot of issues, would getting 2060 super be a better choice?

Hi, for those that bought parts from amazon and Newegg, is the manufacturer warranty valid?

get a 1tb adata sx8200 pro locally or WD sn750 black via amazon instead.

for gpu consider the 2060 super or 2070 instead.

nope, usually theres no manufacturer warranty on parts only the 30 days thing

I see. Then is it worth the risk of buying without warranty? Are the prices there attractive enough to forgo the warranty?

Just exploring my options if I should check out from these sites too.

Hi Charlie_zhan, I tot for M.2 the Samsung one are usually the better ones compared to the rest? will kinda need your point of view for it as I am not very good at which storage device is better.

And for GPU wise despite RX 5700xt gaming X having some driver issue for some people but it can be resolved, for RX 5700XT gaming X performance is better then the RTX 2060 and can be on par with RTX 2070 but it also comes more affordable then RTX 2060 and RTX 2070. Why will you recommend RTX 2060/2070 more over RX 5700XT gaming X?

You can try platforms like Shopee, Lazada, Carousel and also from 'Bizgram daily DIY price' originally from Sim lim. sometimes newegg charge quite a high shipping price too.

Thanks TLdomin.

Btw, anyone has recommendations for rgb casing fans?

Also, can ARGB fans still be used on non-ARGB motherboards?

Thermal.take Riing Quad 14 RGB (3-Pack) Fans are quite value for money for 3 case fans!

You need 120mm or 140mm case fans?
