It's one of those hobbies once you have a taste of what's possible you won't go back to just simple setup. My current setup now already totaled more than $10K. But wah, the sound, can just sit down listen for music for hours.

Can try auditioning these two below. Once you hear them, you will never ever consider those Edifier, Swans, Klispch, Harman Kardon, etc anymore.

Mainly Logitech Z120, Z313 than Z407.
Edifier in the past I own few model and the last was R1280DBs.
Yea I heard z407 is v good. Hey have u heard of Edifier R18t? It seems that there are hardly any reviews online abt them...

Ic... oh I just added some more to my last post...
Bro how much is your budget. There is no need to research so much if you are not willing to spend. Speakers below $40 50 will all sound more or less the same hard truth

Oh I was looking at Edifier R19u and R19bt but I think they have poor bass output... would this Z120 be better?

physics at play, dont expect even decent bass extension from these small speakers, most of them tend to go until 100+hz, the most 100 nia

if you only want 2.0, then you need to be looking at a minimum of 5in" for decent bass extension till 40-50

till 40-50 hz is it? I'm considering some speakers that are bigger -the Redragon GS520/Onikuma G6

yea

honestly, I will avoid these gaming speakers or gaming coys selling speakers (razer etc.). I say just save up around another 100-120bucks

100+ range opens you up to Mackie CR3X, Presonus Eris 3.5 and JBL 104, you can add subwoofer next time when you have more budget and want more bass extension

Oh I'm just looking for 2.0 speakers that I can carry around and that is easy to set up whenever I wanna use my laptop so subwoofers are out.

then I would go with your earlier choice of either edifier r19 or logi z120
Just avoid those gaming coys' speakers

not sure whether x-mini still around, those are pretty cheap and darn compact with decent SQ

I think X-mini is no longer ard anymore... but I see lots of other funny brands trying to imitate and make those mini capsule speakers lol...

U were saying I should avoid gaming coy's speakers... what's the reason?

I am not sure why you are into those "gaming speaker."
As shared so long not reputable brand like Logitech or Edifier don't consider.
Even if they sound nice, can it last? I don't think and the build quality
looks like a toy.

Most review out there are mostly paid by the company themselves.

If you want a speaker for laptop than get the Logitech Z120 the Edifier will be much bigger and difficult to carry around than this. The Logitech Z120 have decent sound and bass so avoid those gaming speaker
which are you very interested in.

The bass for this speaker is quite good, if you don't believe me buy one from Challenger.
Do you if you don't like the item you can return back to the challenger within 7 days
than change to another item.
Yea I think i'll try those logitechs out... I saw a youtube review and the bass was not bad...

Even at home... I dun have a set place where I permanently use for using my laptop... everytime I need to use it, I have to set it up on the dining table along with the speakers... so if minus the subwoofer will be a little less mafan
