Pckaki not willing to quote individual components as they selling only whole set

Yeah, i remember mine pc set is also slightly higher when i did a comparison using other shop pricelist and the receipt also doesnt shows individual components price.

Just that this time round i am lazy to DIY myself, so I let the shop install everything for me and delivered to me instead. :s13:

not sure have they change their warranty terms or not. from receipt i can see is written as:

1. 1st 30 days 1 to 1 warranty exchange
2. 1st yr onsite warranty
3. 2nd year onwards carry in warranty

As mentioned by bro skrekro, if you are not happy with it, you can choose other shops to buy instead.

Possibly the onsite warranty service made his price higher. I not sure if I can try nego with him on the pricing =) Worth a try I guess ? haha

I think the main question will be the second year onwards carry-in warranty because different components have different warranty duration.

You have to check whether you can either bring back to PCKAKI or the authorised distributors.

The components from some shops are not valid for warranty by the authorised distributors.

Haha..True,that 2nd year onwards carry in warranty I actually didn't take note of it. Usually computer parts will last a few years if it's not under very high temperature I guess. My previous water-cooled set just only lasted me 5 years and it just had to suddenly die in mid of last year while I was waiting for the new generation gfx card..sianz by half..

Of course I think if DIY , it should be cheaper as you still can bargain the price if you are buying most of the item in a particular shop.

So long as you are not in a hurry and money is in your hands, you can keep asking question and also find other shops or online store promotion.

Can't remember how much higher exactly but should be less than $80 that is inclusive of assembly, OS installation and courier delivery to my house (Yes, i am lazy to do self assembly after doing it since young till now)

You can watsapp them list down what you want and they will reply you with the price that is already inclusive of installation and delivery. haha, no harm just asking.

To me is not bad. Due to my home wiring that is at least 40 yrs old and the assembled PC keeps having coil whining issue (no problem occurs when i bring to neighbour house and shop to test), they helped me swapped 3 times GPU, 3 times PSU during the first week until the least audible coil whine. Dont know whether other shops will help you do all these not.

Above is what I mentioned last year. As for now i am not sure. :D

I just built a PC, you could read my review here:
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/3060ti-build-completed-review-lessons.6575563/page-2
I would recommend having the part list, indicate what are must-have (Mobo, CPU, GPU?) and what are flexible based on the shop's stock (SSD, RAM, PSU?). Then ask each shop in SLS for a quote. You would have a good idea of how well-stocked and professional the shop is - which might translate to better after-sales service.

I recommend PCthemes as their part price and stock are quite good, their assembly price is also cheap, $10 only.

I bought my parts from Techdeals, they accept GrabPay so you could use your credit card to pay.

i reckon the $80 premium is reasonable then ?

the OS is Win10 (unactivated) provided by PC Kaki ?
