i have pushed a new update to playstore

v2.1

*Added full support for landscape mode
*Added full support for multi-screen for Android N users

Several bugfixes and UI enhancements such as:

*Colour correction on light theme. Now it looks more pleasing to the eyes, users have to re-apply the theme for it to take effect
*Loading icon has now been changed to Android default
*Loading threads will now be slightly faster
*Fixed issue where images in posts not loaded properly on random occasions
*A few minor bugfixes and UI tweaks

One question: how can I jump to other sub forums when viewing from another a sub forum?? For example, I went into LG sub forums under the mobile forums. I cant seems to find a way to jump into the Android sub forums??

Also, somehow I feel the forum top banner are too tall with the height. I think it will be better to make it thinner. Just a thought.

Hi,

you cant jump to other subforums when you are in a subforum for now. You have to go back to the parent forum. im working on this.

but nevertheless you can bookmark the sub forum by clicking on the star icon at the top. This will allow u to easily access back this sub forum by swiping the left navigation panel.

2) the top banner will hide away after you scroll down.

so sorry but i dont think i will release an update anytime soon. i think the next update might be earliest 2-3 weeks i guess. my cat just knock off my phone off the table and the screen crack unfortunately. i am not able to use my phone, it wont detect my touch

i need to get a replacement screen which would take like 2 weeks or so. i shall use an emulator for now to test but it wont be effective enough. so i wont release an update first.

I see. But the problem is when I tap back on my phone, it exits immediately rather than going back to the parent forum. Kinda goofy.

hi,

oh yes, because you are still on the main page that's why tapping back doesnt really go back to the previous forum you were at. the back button only triggers when you are on the next screen, for example you are viewing a thread, then pressing back will go back to the main screen.

i will make the subforum permanent on other subforums in future update. do look forward to it.

Hi kuma mon. Isit possible to implement a notification regarding PMs too?
Like maybe have a small ticker at the PM to indicate how many unread messages so we will know when we receive PMs.

1) unfortunately i cant implement notification for PM. let me explain.

firstly, i would need to store your login credentials in my database so that i could consistently login and check the PM page. this one is already a breach of security/privacy.

then i would be using the same IP address to login to all accounts. this would be highly suspicious and can get myself in trouble with the admins.

what you can do is to enable email notification for PM in hwz settings. when you receive a PM, hwz will send you an email.

2) the small ticker i think possible but need to think of a way. can't promise you though.
