You may take a loan from licensed lending. Do a search, there are a few in every township

Banks have a debt servicing ratio that they look at one. A person cannot take too much loan.

You have to see your personal loan is for what purpose. I Google a bit, min income is $20k only.

If for very urgent matters and you can repay within a month, try charging to your credit card. It's ok as long as you able to pay it in full.

Also, please ensure what you are using for is not for a scam. Wake up and think properly.

best not to take any unsecured loan that you can't pay off immediately

If you have those investment insurance policy, check with the company if you are able to take out a loan against it. I know of relatives who did that before because urgently need money for renovation.

Personal loans EIR is quite high… don’t do it unless you really need for emergency.

If it’s for consumption purpose, my suggestion is think twice

I take personal loans and then leverage for other products…like whack BTC. Back in 2018, I borrowed 100k and all in BTC

I used to take personal loans and credit card loans up to about $50,000. Every month pay $1000+ interest. My only consolation is that I have a fully paid house worth $300,000 back then. Now I have $1 million FD and a $600,000 house.

Nice. If you think about it. Those who got house loan to pay off their swanky and shiny condo also pay $1-2k in interest every month. Maybe more. But people are ok with it, they wont say its a joke. How ironic
